Lucky me, hit 125 #Starbucks stars and treated myself to an iced latte for the train ride home. More lucky am I, as I have summer hours and get to leave work early on Fridays during the summer.
Ideally, I’d like to have Fridays off. #goals
In any case Friday is the best day of my week. The weekend stretches out in front of me, I don’t have to prepare my clothes (or anyone else’s) for the next day, dinner can be late and on the fly because I don’t have pack lunches for the next day out of dinner leftovers-and during the school year there is no pressing homework.
In a nutshell, Fridays are the best because I don’t have to put in time doing mom or household work after my day job.
Reflecting on what I just wrote makes me think my life would be easier if I had wife!
